57's,t-bucker ,490/498t, 496/500 in my Gibsons but needed just a lil more push as the music gravitated towards modern sound. had all the classic pups covered from 61 zebra. each song in the studio this go round, ran every guitar and amp through its paces. I really use all from 7.5 to 18.5.for the metal ref you where asking about.i thought about it since you posted.and figured out am really picky about them. Obviously, my two guitars aren't equal in any way other than both being electric guitars.

I can play my Tele on a clean-ish amp and it will stay clean except for power cords at full gain, while the PRS can saturate the same amp at the same level.ДЄ higher output pickup produces more AC voltage, all other things being equal. used to mod everything.now look for almost new conditioned used and simply set them up right.iplay live in 4 dif tunnings and each guitar is specifuaclly matched for a sound change with out changing my amp settings much.just the channels on My marshall DSl.its been 2 years of no holds barred experimanting to get to these pups and my sound.now i get to simply plug and play and it will sound pretty darn close to the CD I buy guitars very specifically for the pups.
